This is mainly boring stuff but I’m required to shove it in your face, sorry. And anyhow, it’s important.
Cookies
There are good and bad cookies. The bad ones keep track of your every move on the internet and result in all those popup adverts and other rubbish we get plagued with. Plus they reveal where you’ve been and sometimes you don’t want people to know where you’ve been! Good cookies help websites to function by remembering where you are, where you’ve been during your visit to the site and, if there’s any commerce involved, what you’ve put in your shopping basket. Without good cookies most web sites wouldn’t function. This site uses some good cookies to help you get around. It doesn’t use any bad cookies at all.
Privacy
Like all web sites, mine will collect anonymous data to help me maintain and develop the site. All this information is aggregated so I know, for example, the percentage of visitors that use a particular web browser, different operating systems and so on. No personal information is kept unless you volunteer it (by contacting me).

I have made every effort to ensure that any files available to download from this site are free of viruses and other threats. Whilst I do check every external link from time to time, I cannot constantly check external web sites to which I link and so cannot be held responsible for the content of those sites. Any commercial products and/or services are reviewed honestly. I do not accept any payment, in cash or kind, for reviews. I have actually bought myself, or received as a present from a friend or relative, everything I've reviewed. Reviews of services received are honest and objective reviews of those services as I received them and of goods as bought.
